These instructions walk you through the setup process for ticketing customers of Gateway's Galaxy Connect product so your venue can seamlessly send digital ticket donations directly through DonationMatch. Once connected, the integration helps automate ticket fulfillment, virtually eliminate manual fulfillment, and create a smoother experience for both your team and the nonprofit organizations you support.
If you don't already have a DonationMatch donor company profile, first create one at https://my.donationmatch.com.
Donation Listing Setup
Whether you "Add an Item" yourself or ask us to do this for you, you'll want to decide:
- Which ticket types/passes within Galaxy are eligible for donation
- Typical donation quantity and lead times
- Eligibility criteria (location, timing, org, and event-based criteria)
- Any custom messaging, event follow-up, or promotional preferences
If you have past donation records with EINs, we can upload them into DonationMatch for cross-referencing and informing future approval decisions.
Authorize Passes in Gateway
Please notify Gateway which passes you would like authorized for donation.
Then send us:
- Graphics or images
- A sample download of each pass option (front and back)
The passes will be re-created within DonationMatch and securely linked to Galaxy. Our team will assist with the setup to ensure settings align with your donation policies.
Go Live — Fast
We will:
- Schedule a walkthrough to review workflow and answer any questions before launch
- Provide a custom referral link to use on your website for forwarding requests from other channels (such as your website, mail, and emails) to DonationMatch
Most Gateway clients can go live as soon as the walkthrough is done!
