Not at all. Just like when it happens offline, you are not required to fulfill any or all requests. When a nonprofit requests your item, you have the option to approve or decline the request. Conversely, nonprofits may choose to accept or decline any offers you make to them.
Items are only considered "matched" when both parties approve.
