Placeholders are a generalized donation listing that allows the donor company to choose the item to donate at the time of request approval, rather than having organizations request specific items. This feature is a benefit of Champion (upgraded) business/donor accounts.
When using this feature,
- Only the Placeholder item will be visible to eligible events to request
- All other available items are automatically hidden
- Placeholders cannot be offered; they can only requested by events
- Placeholder criteria will limit who can request it; specific item criteria will limit what can be selected at time of approval
