Once you request an item or it is offered to you, it is automatically removed from "Find Events" and will show up in "Match Activity" as a pending request/offer.
If this is not the reason, it is also possible that the donor company removed the item listing or the event criteria changed, in which case if you no longer qualify for a package it will no longer be visible to you.
