If you’re not receiving a password reset or email verification email from DonationMatch, we understand how frustrating that can be when you’re trying to access your account or complete an important step. Below are some common reasons this may happen, along with practical steps you can take to resolve it quickly.
First ,Check Your Spam or Junk Folder
Sometimes, automated emails can be filtered by your email provider.
- Look in your Spam, Junk, Promotions, or Clutter folders.
- If you find the email there, mark it as “Not Spam” to help future messages arrive in your inbox.
Add DonationMatch to Your Contacts
Adding our sending addresses to your address book can improve deliverability:
- hello@donationmatch.com
- support@donationmatch.com
- nonprofitsupport@donationmatch.com
This signals to your email provider that our messages are safe and expected.
Request a New Email
If some time has passed, try requesting the password reset or verification email again. Occasionally, delays or expired links can prevent earlier emails from working properly.
Check with Your IT Team or Email Provider
If you’re using a work or organization email, your system administrator or email provider may have filters that block certain messages.
- Ask them to allow emails from @donationmatch.com
- Confirm that automated/system-generated emails are not being blocked
⚠️ Special Note for Yahoo and Related Email Services
Some email providers, including Yahoo and its affiliated domains (such as AOL, Comcast, Netscape), apply filtering policies that can occasionally delay or block transactional emails—even when they’re legitimate.
If you’re using a Yahoo-related email:
- Double-check all folders, including Spam and Trash
- Add our email addresses to your contacts (as noted above)
- Reach out to your provider's Customer Support
- If possible, consider using an alternate email address (such as Gmail or a business domain) for account access
