If you are a leader or staff member of a nonprofit that allows others (individuals, groups, auxiliaries, etc) to fundraise on your behalf, these are ways to authorize them to use DonationMatch for your organization:
- Ask them to provide your official email address as the "Organization Email" on their nonprofit application. This ensures you will be the one contacted to confirm their authorization to solicit donations with your organization's Tax ID.
- Send an email to support@donationmatch.com from your official organization email and ask for an alert to be attached to your organization's EIN with preferences for handling new volunteer and/or third-party fundraiser applications.
- With a Pro VIP (yearly) subscription, you can manage (add and remove) "Authorized Users" to secure donations for their own events. This is especially helpful for keeping track of users and if you want donation records of these users to be available to you after they are removed/left.
- With an Enterprise (yearly) subscription, you can oversee all "Authorized Users" in your organization that are associated with the same EIN. This allows you the unique ability to authorize/de-authorize accounts using your EIN, see the current activity of particular users, provide "Authorized Users" with special discounts on upgrades, as well as receive aggregated reports for all donations solicited and received by your organization on DonationMatch.
